The tragic death of a graduate student last week near Cincinnati has been traced to a defective harness used in a church’s Christmas production.
Keri Shryock, 23, was performing acrobatics in a church theater production when she suddenly dropped and fell 20 feet. She was taken to the hospital with severe head injuries where she later passed away.
After completing their investigation, Cincinnati police have reported that they believe Shryock’s death can be blamed upon a faulty harness used during the performance.
With the encouragement of the Shryock family, the church has decided to continue with performaces this week.
